THE CHALLENGE

How to enhance Lidl’s in-cinema marketing campaign with a call to action that fulfilled a key objective of increasing basket spend?

WHAT WE DID

SPARK created a campaign that took cinema-goers from the screen to the store and back again. The on-screen messaging enticed the audience to head to Lidl and spend £40 to be in with a chance of winning family cinema tickets.

Targeting key family movies of the year the campaign was designed to maximise exposure and utilised innovative receipt scanning software to validate entries.

The campaign ensured that basket spend increased above target each time the campaign ran.
